      Amazing legacy, great work/life balance, tons of room for advancement. Great job security, work with some of the brightest minds in your field.

      Cons

      Pay starts out very low for Civil Servants, but increases fairly quickly. Lots of red tape.

      Easy; nice people; cool tours;

      Cons

      general lack of motivation shown by employees and interns; civil servants don't have to fear losing their jobs so they don't try very hard.

      Pros

      Great work-life balance. Many fun things to do during and after workdays. Sometimes, work can feel very important and valued. Good to meet other interns.

      Cons

      Sometimes the workers will not have enough time to guide you during your internship. When this happened to me, I was stuck on an assignment and could not make progress for weeks, because the NASA civil servants were too busy/did not care to help.
