Pros
Everyone I encountered was incredibly competent and passionate about their work. Great environment to work in, I really enjoyed my time there.
Cons
Slightly more bureaucracy than, say, a startup, but substantially less so than most government operations. Many people start their career at JPL and never leave, which isn't necessarily a con, but can lead to a lack of outside perspective.

Cons
Projects move very fast. It could be hard to keep up
