    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at NAWC full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Easy, low stress, paycheck is always on time

    Cons

Management likeds to be distant, constantly reminded it takes 10-15 years for undergrads to be useful/grow, extremely complex rules, no cares about you or your personal growth, high turnover, lots of superficial fixes ie: a developmental program but very few actual fixes, EXTREMELY INFLUENCED BY POLITICS.

    Advice to Management

Provide clear paths to move upwards, don't pick favorites, don't pigeon hole people

    Pros

Lots of professional development opportunities; good benefits; variety of opportunities for work/research; good work/life balance

    Cons

Burden of "additional duties" with no added benefit to employee; no paid maternity leave (just FMLA); not mission funded/Navy working capital fund; distance to airport for travel
