    I have been working at NAWC full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Work schedule is great (flex schedule Monday-Thursday 6-4 flex Friday off working Friday 6-3 People are great and willing to help teach you jobs and give experience

    Cons

    Politics sometimes blur the vision of the mission or people’s selfishness get in the way of what’s more important

    I have been working at NAWC full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Work life is great. Opportunity to work on a variety of projects over your career. Ability to interface with many other developers and you're never stuck on one project forever.

    Cons

    Some teams have the if it isn't completely broken don't fix it attitude in regards to processes and technology.

    Flexible work hours. Great working environment. A lot of recreational activities.

    Pros

    Endless opportunities for different work Challenging, unique work Good supervisors Opportunity to do a lot of travel and see your work in the battle arena Opportunity to acquire a government passport and secret/top secret clearance Most supervisors are very flexible to suit your personal/professional needs Great place to live if you are an outdoors person Excellent night sky (for amateur astronomers) Very religious, quiet, military-friendly, and conservative town (if those are important to you) Income to COLA/mortgage/rent is perhaps the best in the country Commute is minimal with minimal traffic

    Cons

    Social life is difficult here (hard to date, better off going to date in the larger cities) Most significant others will not like it here Air is very dry/weather is very hot in summer and it is very windy throughout the year an it is very dusty Restaurants are not as good as they can be A lot of roads need maintenance

    Pros

    The people who work here are very friendly. The enviroment is set up to make you feel comftorable and appreciated. The amenities provided such as the gym are also great

    Cons

    There is not much to say here, but one thing working with the goverment is that everything is slow. Everyone moves slow so when you need something done quick, it will not be done quick.

    Pros

    You can do almost anything you want as long as you find the funding, including research, design, analysis, or program management On boarding process has you meet with people all over the base for the first month Good benefits

    Cons

    Government pay isn't great, but Ridgecrest is cheap Project funding is at the mercy of congress

    The company has a very competitive salary, great employees and outstanding benefits.

    HR is slower than expected in some areas but other than that, I haven't found any Cons.

    benefits, growth opportunities, excellent training, team work, leadership

    Cons

    Very fast paces. Could be very stressful. Oppsition and challenges with other integrated product team members are common due to different work knowledge and objectives even though it is to accomplish the same end goal.

    Salary may low but if you adds up all the benefits, you actually get more money than from anywhere else

    Cons

    There are so many trainings that you have to go through and that would cause you hate your life.
