    Great Benefits, Awesome Company Stock Purchase Plan, 10 Vacation Days, 11 Sick Days, 5 Personal Days, 2 Floating Holidays a Year. Depending on which part of the company you work for, you may have summer Fridays!

    Pros

    Always lots of challenges and work. If you're willing to take things on you'll never be twiddling your thumbs. If you want to advance into management there will be opportunities.

    Cons

    Despite having been part of Comcast for almost a decade, they still have the GE mentality that individual contributors (and in fact pretty much everybody up to VPs) are easily replace, interchangeable commodities.

    Advice to Management

    Get out of the old GE mentality, look to retain productive ICs, don't just look for potential management talent.

    Pros

    Mostly everyone is friendly.
    Clean working environment.
    Employee safety - Gated parking and the doors require an employee I.D. badge in order to enter.
    Gym located inside the building.

    Cons

    No room for advancement, the pay is poor, one employee gets the work load of three to four people, hard to get to know employees from other departments.

    Hire from within the company and value your employees.

    World reknown reputation for excellent programming.

    Cons

    Very hard to grow within company. Still uses many outdated processes are that lengthy and inefficient.

    Advice to Management

    Invest in your employees so that are able to grown and are not pigeonholed into a role.
