    Pros

The health insurance and benefits are pretty good, and you get paid right away after you start if you start on a pay week.

    Cons

If you are looking for a professional and structured environment, this is not the place for you. There is literally zero support. The Manager is never around or always has her door closed. Senior Sales Coordinators are so over it, and never want to help. So basically you just fumble along with what little training they give you, and get screamed at by sales staff for not knowing what the heck is going on. It takes forever to get questions answered, if they get answered at all. everyone here is so unhappy.

    Advice to Management

Be more available. Care about your support staff. Attempt to be inclusive. Be better at passing along important information.

    Pros

Great workplace to kick off your career in Media. The Sales Coordinators and Account Executives are treated equally; which is a breath of fresh air. Management is fair and honest. The office in general has this open door policy and anytime we need help, advice or a simple question, they are there to help us grow. It was a great place to work, good people and will come back to NCC if ever return to Chicago.

    Cons

Office can use a face lift.

    Advice to Management

Continue to treat all employees equal. Great job.

I worked at NCC Media full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Get compensation for overtime and some fun activities ie. birthdays, holiday party, happy hours (if you know where to look)

    Cons

    - Over time cut back despite many relying on this as part of their income...
    - Only "staff bonding" is common frustration of day-to-day and management as many large decisions negatively affect coordinator level resulting in high-turnover.
    - Workload expectation are entirely unfair on lower level, especially since overtime is restricted.
    - Nearly impossible to take time off as coverage system is poor.
    - Incentives and morale for coordinators depend solely on AE's resulting in frustration when assigned AE's show more gratitude than others.

    Advice to Management

Focus on ways to satisfy lower level employees so they are inspired to stay more than 1 year. Reward hard work rather than taking advantage of good employees.

    Pros

Office culture was great. Lots of overtime.

    Cons

There can be a ton of work at times and it really is just a bunch of data entry. No real room for growth for the majority of sales coordinators
