Fantastic Place to Work
Feb 26, 2023 - Registered Nurse in Naples, FLRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Lots of nursing fellowships for experience or new grads. Great place to live.
Cons
Housing is too expensive, most live outside of Naples.

Pros
The company offers good health insurance at the moment. I am thankful to have a job with good hours in my particular outpatient position.
Cons
No annual raises, poor management. No incentive for certification (no raise) No incentive for getting BSN (no raise) Getting tuition reimbursement is next to impossible, although they claim it as a perk to the job. NCH is more focused on customer satisfaction than employee satisfaction. Rebranding, expanding facilities, but no increase in pay as the cost of living skyrockets. During hurricane Ian, employees had to use all their PTO if we wanted to get paid while the hospital had our clinics shut down.

Pros
Nurses truly care about the patients. Leadership team is very friendly.
Cons
Compensation is based on years experience as RN or leader etc, there is no negotiating salary. Poor communication about raises and bonuses, they do not come on Jan 1 like most other organizations and you are not told if you are getting them at all. Director level is performing managerial tasks. Lack of support under director level, needs managers/assistant directors to do managerial things.

Working as a Phlebotomist
Mar 19, 2023 - Donor Specialist in Naples, FLRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Sign on Bonus and very flexible schedule
Cons
There was a contract to stay with the company for 2 years if you accept the sign on bonus. We were always overstaffed. No raises were given. Not a lot of PTO

Not the best place to work but better than fast food
Sep 18, 2022 - Community Health Nurse II in Naples, FLRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
It’s a stepping stone but not a place to stay. The cost of living in Naples is higher that most places and yet they don’t pay enough to make it affordable. Administration are the only ones that can make a decent salary.
Cons
The pay is not where it should be. They expect you to stay late without asking you. Managers are not willing to stand up against administration to support you. They just keep dumping patients on you, meanwhile they go home a 3 or 4 o’clock and your stuck there waiting to get a bed for a patient until 10 or 11 pm; when your day starts at 6am. Human Resources doesn’t have a clue either. It’s like they hired high school kids to work in there. Oh and the benefits are some of the worst I’ve ever had. The health insurance sucks and the hospital doesn’t give a discount to its employees.

Pros
Great team, culture, and growing headcount.
Cons
Not any at the moment.
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Decent benefits, coworkers, tools for the job
Cons
Staffing issues persist without a fix, exec leadership is out of touch, ineffective communication, questionable HR practices, reactive instead of proactive with staff retention and satisfaction

IT service center
Feb 18, 2023 - IT Service Center Specialist in Naples, FLRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Good experience for entry level, good manager
Cons
Poor pay, bad hours, HR does not support you. Bad treatment from doctors and clinical staff
Continue reading - Current Employee, more than 5 years★★★★★
Pros
Self scheduling, not paying for the crappy health insurance
Cons
Poor pay, very high turnover. Unsafe for patients. Not enough communication. HR sucks and has random arbitrary policies that they come up with. Nothing better to do I guess.
