    Pros

    Opportunity for advancement
Support and reward educational goals that are meaningful to the company
    Benefits are good
Slow, but progressive change towards modern business practices

    Cons

Change has been slow and difficult at times
Too many upper echelon titles that have no followers
Pay scale needs to be overhauled some to be more competitive
Need better communication between corporate decision makers and on the floor production associates to effectively utilize time, space, resources, and manpower in the implementation of new processes, procedures and equipment.

    Advice to Management

Get back in touch with the movers and shakers who are responsible for getting the products out the door and at the customers feet-drafting, engineering and plant production employees.

I worked at NCI Building Systems full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Work environment is a top priority there at NCI Buildings. The quality of the management is A+, and so are the employees.

    Cons

There are not many things I can list here really, except to provide more open door when it comes to deadlines on projects.

    Advice to Management

Keep the environment fun yet professional, and your employees will reward you.

I have been working at NCI Building Systems full-time

    Pros

My coworkers are amazing. They treat me like family and value my input. It makes coming to work an enjoyable experience. The company has phenomenal benefits which the company pays a good portion of. The pay is reasonable and there's plenty of room for advancement. They have a reasonable expectation when it comes to work-life balance. They really work hard to make quality improvements to make things better for the employees.

    Cons

Taking time off in the first 90 days is very challenging, but do-able if you're willing to be flexible.

    Advice to Management

I would love to see a PTO program replace the sick and vacation time policy. It would allow more flexibility for the employees.
