    I have been working at NCI full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    There are many great things here. It's the one con that sinks everything else.

    Cons

    Was sexually harassed and the individual in question was allowed to keep working at the company. #metoo

    There are a lot of great things about the company and I give 5 stars to everything except on culture and values. If you don't have the integrity to fire someone guilty of sexual harassment, who also admitted it, well....

    I worked at NCI full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Not much... Salary was decent.

    Cons

    I was sexually harassed and dealt with a hostile work environment for months and although I continued to report and document it, nothing happened. I finally quit because I couldn't take anymore. No one cares about you there. The worst part is that even after a company formal investigation was founded, the guy still works there. They allow their employees to be bullied by the government employees and shrug when bad things are reported. They don't protect or discipline their employee.

    Advice to Management

    Nothing, they don't listen anyway. Develop a backbone and some morals, values, and ethics.

    Pros

    Departments are their own islands - tough when projects get canceled.

    I have been working at NCI (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good Benefits.
    Work/Life balance is a part of company culture.
    Stepping into a lower level position and showing your worth is a good stepping stone to internal movement.

    Cons

    decent amount of turnover in senior leadership, but expected with a new CEO with a bold plan.

    Advice to Management

    Keep the growth strategy and continue to implement a meritocracy.

    I worked at NCI full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    If you get a good manager on a good account, you can gain valuable experience whether you're early in your career or the middle of your career. A good manager will also grant you flexibility to work from home to maintain good work/life balance.

    Cons

    Salaries and raises for technology professionals are below market compared to their competition in the DC/metro area. The benefits package also compares poorly to their competition. Lately they've struggled to win business, resulting in multiple rounds of layoffs. Recent high-level decisions have led talented individual contributors and managers to depart for other companies. Their recent acquisition by a private equity firm portends further changes and turmoil. NCI offers no unique value proposition (due to the aforementioned losses of talent), is too small to effectively compete head-to-head with the largest of the so-called "Beltway bandits" and too large to be eligible for small business set-asides except via joint ventures with actual small businesses.

    * Very nice people
    * Flexible hours
    * Remote work options

    * No transportation allowance

    Advice to Management

    If you can reduce health insurance or contribute more. And if you can offer transportation allowance.

    I worked at NCI full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Company which still allowed employees to feel like people, and a part of a team, and that they are valued. Great management team at our contract

    Cons

    When the going got tough, they took benefits back from employees. Some very bad management decisions at the top levels of the company which hurt morale

    Advice to Management

    You can only take so many benefits away before you are operating at a bare bones level. Give back the sick leave you took away from all
