    Pros

Relatively good treatment of employees, competitive pay, good technicians. Works to move current employees to other jobs if issues/conflicts arise.

    Cons

They have many contract-specific jobs and few core staff. When the contract goes, most employees do as well. However, that is the norm for the Ft Huachuca area.

    Pros

No experience necessary, flexible shifts, very understanding management , when I had my baby everyone was awesome and they let me come back part time , they made a lactation room available

    Cons

Outdated system, weekends mandatory, no time given to pump after my baby was born, the time came outbof my breaks or I had to clock out

    Advice to Management

My manager was really wonderful and she really cared about her team. More incentives would have been nice for better service

I have been working at NCI full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Overall culture is fantastic. The folks in the field are easy to work with. From the COO down to the VPs, there is an open door policy.

    Cons

The contract shop needs a revitalization. Folks have been in the same position for over 20+ years and don't understand the need for change (growth). They do not trust their employees. NO ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT!

    Advice to Management

Provide methods to show appreciation and loyalty to staff who show the same to you. Provide a pathway for professional growth.

I have been working at NCI full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Room for advancement, and great opportunities for highly motivated employee. Compensation good if you ask for it.

    Cons

The high deductible ($8000) Health Insurance. I have good health - so I am going with Basic, and that is working well with the HSA I contribute to paying costs easily. But, it would be a catastrophe if a ... catastrophic illness occurred, as my annual OOP cap is $13,000. I don't mind the high deductible, because the HSA makes it workable. But the annual OOP is untenable. Just adds unneeded worry/financial risk.
Also, there is no formal process in place to give feedback to HR about HI, hence I'm doing it here.

    Advice to Management

Keep the high deductible, lower the annual OOP cap.
