I have been working at NCO Financial full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people I worked with were for the most part thoughtful, hard working and helpful. In my position I dealt with a wide variety of employees and only twice in those interactions did I run into people that weren't helpful.

    Cons

Management is out of touch with employees, company culture is toxic, cronyism is rampant and the pay is terrible. The benefits are also terrible -and the price has gone up consistently every year to the point of outstripping any cost of living increase in wage.

    Advice to Management

For a company that has a corporate goal to retain top talent, stop blaming the employees for everything and lead instead of dictate. Stop chasing away top talent by working them to the point of burnout and publicly shaming them in meetings like toddlers.

I have been working at NCO Financial full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Very relaxed
    Nice people
    nice stepping stone

    Cons

not that great of a pay rate
training class should be 4 weeks not 6 weeks

    Advice to Management

Offer raises and a better pay rate and the turnover rate would go down

I have been working at NCO Financial (More than a year)

    Pros

40 hr work week and benefits which are not good.

    Cons

Working envrionment, no chance of promotion, unprofessional environment. Also safety is an issue.

    Advice to Management

Hire professional people and increase your hourly rate. You get what you pay for. The "team leads" are a joke. They are ignorant, unprofessional and are not interested in helping or coaching anyone. They do it because it allows them to not take phone calls. You'll continue to have a revolving door until you address employee concens. And discontinue penalizing employees when they need a bathroom break by taking it out of their scheduled breaks.

I have been working at NCO Financial part-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

If the department is closing they will find you another job in a different dept. In 10 years I have moved departments 4 times.

    Cons

Benefits package is minimal and not competitive. When I started working there we had awesome health insurance. Good suggestions are not taken into consideration so there is a lot of turnover.

    Advice to Management

follow thru on what is promised and communicate quicker and in better ways. Be consistent with policy enforcement so it does not look like favoritism.

The commission checks are nice, easy work once you learn the system.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

The manager i had should be a little more open to help those in need.

I have been working at NCO Financial full-time

    Pros

The pros to this job is that it was very easy. Most customer service jobs require you having to be on the phone all day talking with customers. As an email customer service rep, you just email customers all day instead of having phone conversations. This makes the job less stressful.

    Cons

The company was very disorganized. I have never worked for a company like this before. Training was horrible and I was confused a lot of the time.

    Pros

    Some Work at Home jobs

    Cons

There are no raises for this company. You start off at 9.50 after 3 months you get a .50 raise. It is not easy to bonus. The rules and guidelines are change everyday and all employes are not on one accord.
