I worked at NCO Financial full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Meet varieties of people. Enjoy working with computers. Very challenging job. Enjoy working with people. Great team work.

    Cons

I would like to work with people that treat people with the same perspective. No favoritism so whatsoever. Recognize workers for what he/she has done. Team work.

    Advice to Management

Would like for him/her to see what the employee has done and the awesome work he/she has done and. Credit the best job has done and not just notice the little things employees has done but for how he/she has done it. I see or notice they're only looking for experience people, how about give others chance and let him/her show what a person can do in actions before we can make assumptions.

I have been working at NCO Financial full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people I worked with were for the most part thoughtful, hard working and helpful. In my position I dealt with a wide variety of employees and only twice in those interactions did I run into people that weren't helpful.

    Cons

Management is out of touch with employees, company culture is toxic, cronyism is rampant and the pay is terrible. The benefits are also terrible -and the price has gone up consistently every year to the point of outstripping any cost of living increase in wage.

    Advice to Management

For a company that has a corporate goal to retain top talent, stop blaming the employees for everything and lead instead of dictate. Stop chasing away top talent by working them to the point of burnout and publicly shaming them in meetings like toddlers.

I worked at NCO Financial full-time

    Pros

Salaries tend to be quite high. There is opportunity to get exposure to multiple industries. Good International presence.

    Cons

The corporate culture was very out-dated with an almost entirely male leadership group and no diversity in age, background or race. It was not a culture of innovation.

    Advice to Management

Management should make efforts to be more inclusive. They should broaden the diversity at the higher levels and middle management.

I have been working at NCO Financial full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Very relaxed
    Nice people
    nice stepping stone

    Cons

not that great of a pay rate
training class should be 4 weeks not 6 weeks

    Advice to Management

Offer raises and a better pay rate and the turnover rate would go down

I have been working at NCO Financial part-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

If the department is closing they will find you another job in a different dept. In 10 years I have moved departments 4 times.

    Cons

Benefits package is minimal and not competitive. When I started working there we had awesome health insurance. Good suggestions are not taken into consideration so there is a lot of turnover.

    Advice to Management

follow thru on what is promised and communicate quicker and in better ways. Be consistent with policy enforcement so it does not look like favoritism.

    Pros

Downtown Wyandotte and close to resturants.

    Cons

If your not a friend of the boss or family which is 90 percent of the employees then get tried poorly.

    Advice to Management

Not to hire friends and their friends.

Former Employee - Call Center Representative in Horsham, PA

I worked at NCO Financial (More than a year)

    Pros

Best pay i've seen from any collection agency.

    Cons

The pay is the only good thing about this job. Long tedious hours. Very hard to advance. Mandatory overtime and Saturdays depending on how good(or rather how bad) your team does. VERY strict on lateness. Have to be on the dialer ready to go at the start of 8am.
