    It's hard to climb up as there are too many employees and too few positions.

    Good for family-oriented employees
    Stability as projects tend to be government-related
    Good place to jump-start in the IT industry

    Cons

    Products and solutions need to be benchmarked against what competitors out there are already having
    Delivery teams suffer as sales pitching tends to oversell the existing/can-be-achieved capabilities
    Slow career growth

    Conservative culture, unproductive processes and mindset created by the very senior staff in NCS is hard to change and may never change.

    Pros

    Perm staff benefits are quite good

    Cons

    Minimal to no career progression unless you stay long enough to be exposed to more projects or take on senior roles. Job roles are stagnant

    Advice to Management

    Rotate staffs to different projects every 2 years to allow more exposure

    Pros

    Lof of training and working hours varies depends on the project.

    Cons

    Pay below average. Not much room to progress.

    Advice to Management

    Increase pay and increment. Develop a development plan for all employee and put it in to action.

    Non monetary benefits meet market expectation

    Cons

    Salary on the lower end of the average.
    Little or no support from HQ for outstation staff
    Little or no promotion aspects.
    No unpaid leave approval for long term staff.

    Advice to Management

    DO think for the long term staff and provide options for them to take a well deserved break from work (Unpaid leave).
    Any changes to HR system, pls consider the difficulties of staff outstation with limited/ no internet connection.

    - Big company
    - Few manager are good
    - A lot of free training
    - Secure job

    1. outdated technologies
    2. bad office politics
    3. most of the manager are incompetent
    4. very long working hour
    5. tech people are now well treat

    pls remove some mid management layer

    Pros

    Good place to start career, colleagues have lots of experience and are willing to teach.

    Cons

    Slow progression. Slow increment in salary. Most of the time you boxed yourself in, not many chances to learn different roles.

    Advice to Management

    Remove the Nucleus career management system, and let project managers/directors to be in charge of Nucleus employees. Wasting resources for this group of career managers.

    Easy to get offer for fresh graduates.

    Cons

    Uncompensated OT. Very bad management. The employee's performance is not transparent and not fair.

    Advice to Management

    There's no ways to appeal some problems to higher management while being treated unequal.
