He created a good working atmosphere with team members or colleagues. This bring our will power to continue and complete our tasks.

    Cons

Turnover rate. If turnover rate is high, then very straight forward either PM or company benefits. Overall still okay, PM can do better.

    Pros

The pay is decent. The work hours are ok. The colleagues are nice and we are like a family of sorts.

    Cons

Bureaucracy and there is a 360 employee survey. Some years ago a lot of us in our department working in a massive government project were unhappy with our boss and we highlighted it in the survey.

However, our boss got wind of it and he lectured us for about 1 year, every single meeting for about 1/2 hour that we had better do better in the next employee survey to make him look good. He then also sat down with us one on one and then used vague threats like threatening to close the department down and make all of us in the team lose our jobs. We had bad results for the survey for 2 years and I hope that tells the senior management something. A lot of us left because of this particular manager and many dare not blow the whistle on him because he is vindictive, petty and narcissistic and would give us bad referrals for our future jobs.

    What a joke, seriously, NCS.

    Advice to Management

You don't even listen to your employees, what is the point of putting in that dumb employee survey? I've now joined your rivals. I think they at least listen to us more.
