    Pros

    Good Benefits of Cisco.
Cisco is always a good brand to have it in your cv.
Good work environment. Provided your manager is good.
Good laptop with no restrictions on accessing websites.

    Cons

    No growth.
    People are always demoralising.
    Filled with one state people.
Agile is just a name. Hardly people are aware of it.
Bunch of managers who are not ready to involve in team.
Heavy partiality for same group of people.
Good ideas will remain as ideas, not allowed to implement them.
Managers see's employee like slaves. Want people to slog day and night but at the end eat all the credits.
Bunch of illlogical people are sitting in management who are least bothered about the things that are running.

    P. S. it's all related to fusion project.

    Advice to Management

    Get some transparency
Cisco should show some interest and see how it's name is being mis utilised.
Cisco should spread their line of managers to this building to see what's happening.

I worked at NDS full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice place to work, Good and talented technical people, learned many things through work and colleagues. Free food ,cold drinks , snacks.

    Cons

Don't know about other teams, but My manager used to do micro management, Very old technology, nothing new to learn apart from design patterns in java. Not willing to change or move forward, after CISCO things turned for worst, many people were ousted, causing a lot of good people to jump out before it's their turn for ouster. Very mean and narrow view towards technical improvement, benefits are on very lower side compared to regular CISCO employees.

    Advice to Management

Please be open to new technology, and not just hear but act on employee grievances.

    Pros

Great company to work for, well meaning executive management. Great employee friendly policies. Good self-development opportunity

    Cons

Rapid shift in technology over the past few years has resulted in numerous layoffs. Cisco is hiring but weeding out those that aren't adapting to the new world. This should be done once vs many smaller actions.

    Advice to Management

    Nothing
