    Negative Outlook

I have been working at NEC (Japan) full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

None any more. There use to be many but the management and negative culture has taken all them away

    Cons

Incompetent Service delivery managers (SDM) discrimination and favouritism is at its best bullying double standard of policies arrogant and rude behaviour unhealthy work environment

    Advice to Management

All management should be replaced but this will not happen due to the well established boys club.

    Cons

Marketing team has no vision related to SharePoint and look like they are not interested in selling SharePoint to customer.

    Advice to Management

Focus on SharePoint practice in Sydney, a lot of potential in market to explore.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at NEC (Japan) full-time for more than a year

    Pros

You'll be working only till they have a project and then fired.

    Cons

All that the management cares is about billability.

    Advice to Management

Too heavy management in the Sydney office. For even consultant there are 2-3 managers. Realise your real earners are the people working at client side and not managers

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at NEC (Japan) full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

NIL. The people who had the Pros in the company have been either sacked or have left the company for their good.

    Cons

Managers do not know what our core capabilities/market offerings are No way forward on the strategy IT solutions business goes through very frequent reorganization No motivation to employees, managers just act as machines and never treat employees as humans and never respect their emptions and priorities. Employees do not deserve trust in this company as managers keep influencing employees to leave the company... by harsh and demotivating words. Managers do not bother about employees health Only those who s**k up with managers get respect and promotions and all benefits. Manager are bitterly JEALOUS if an employee frequently travels on business purposes and submit claims.

    Advice to Management

Join a construction company and try to build something instead of snatching someone else's bread and covering your backs. Respect employees folks.......and their personal pains. use your hearts instead of too much brains. Do not humiliate employees, if they leave, you will shut down your business and the doors.

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at NEC (Japan) full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Friendly Management. Small company feel in a Large company. Enough oppurtunities and expertise in the company that help you and is good to learn from. most people I have come in contact with have always been very free with the guidance for my proffessional and personal development.

    Cons

Cascading of information always seems limited. Strategic outlook is sometimes overlooked for meeting current targets which in the long term is not very good.

    Advice to Management

It might be useful to consider the strategic direction of the UK base. There has been a limited amount of growth recently...
