    Cons

-It's like working on eggshells everyday
     - being watched 24/7 on camera all day everyday
-the photography "manager" is condescending and only he is right - he's a "know it all"
    - no communication whatsoever
    - good luck trying to get your health benefits after 3 months (I received my healthcare insurance card 2 weeks after no longer being with the company . ( over a year )
    - the environment in the studio is extremely negative very reflective of the photography " manager "

    Pros

The company has a great warehouse operations manager and the crew are all top notch. Nice temperature controlled warehouse.

    Cons

No possibility for advancement at company. Training for employee is almost non-existent and has a sink or swim culture.Senoir management treat employees poorly, with no respect. The company is like a revolving door with employee turnover.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to talk to employees with tact and respect.

    Pros

Cultural holidays off for the benefit of the company and employees.

    Cons

Gossip in the company, well where isn't there some involved like high school. Better to do your work, keep working and keep the conversations to general things that are not personal to your life.

    Advice to Management

Get Organized!!! Hear your employees requests, they are usually small requests...not ridiculous ones as suggesting yoga time.

I worked at NES Jewelry full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Location on 34th street

    Cons

All departments are on one floor or even one seat away from you. Work stations are in aisles not in cubicle formation. Reminded me of being back at High School. A lot of cattiness and gossip goes on within. Camera Surveillance is ran to watch your every move. The higher up even watches the camera's while he is at home. Company is ran very militant and old-school be prepared to walk on egg shells. Employee perks are non-existent don't expect free snacks or food here, very boring but young atmosphere. Favoritism counts, your work ethic and qualifications not. Don't expect to last in the company if you aren't brown-nosing. If you have other opportunities lined up, take a different route. This isn't the place to seek longevity.
