I worked at NESA Center as an intern

    Pros

Get to meet with a lot of diplomats and military officials from the NESA region. Good resume builder.

    Cons

You will have to make a lot of coffee. Not much research to do.

    Pros

Access to very important military officials and diplomats, hearing interesting speakers from all focus areas, learning from great professors and staff

    Cons

As an intern, no pay, no feedback, no help with paying for metro. Had to make enormous pots of coffee.

    Advice to Management

Give interns more formal feedback and mentorship opportunities. Although interns rotate throughout the year, treat interns as individuals, don't refer to them as intern.
