    I worked at NETSCOUT full-time

    Pros

    Family-oriented company with good benefits

    Cons

Families can be disfunctional. This one certainly is. Back-stabbing, highly politicized climate, where who you know is rewarded, and what you know is looked at with skepticism. Management reneges on written promises when you leave.

    Advice to Management

Hire professional managers with both experience and a degree. There’s nothing wrong with uneducated employees training on the job and making it into management, but when educated-adverse managers prefer to hire their own kind and don’t respect educated professionals, there’s a problem. The patients are running the asylum.

    Pros

    They will never fire you.

    Cons

Read the negative reviews. Company acquires solid b players and doesn't take advantage of their innovations claiming their core solutions are superior, which is hilarious given they constantly lose to b players. Product management is not enabled. Sales is not disciplined.

    Advice to Management

Empower your employees and listen to your customers. Then you could win.

I have been working at NETSCOUT full-time

    Pros

Like most other companies that suck, the only pro next to maybe a handsome salary would be the personal relationships you are able to build with your teammates through (unrecognized) hard work.

    Cons

Awful leadership starting with the CEO. Heavy politics and I mean, disturbingly unethical. A company that bandaid fixes. Limited growth opportunities based on who in leadership you are able to schmooze. Lack of accountability is in NetScout leadership's DNA. Those who have positive things to say about NetScout on Glassdoor are the ones who are part of the NetScout players club.

    Advice to Management

Value your people and you will have happy customers and better stock prices.

    Pros

Good benefits. good lunch and brunch offering.

    Cons

stick to legacy code base and doesn't want to move or make any changes or plan for that.
no employee growth plan and training.

    Advice to Management

either change your lower management or make them adaptable to any future changes. get new skills in your team, encourage people to make changes.
don't think that unless we have perfect perfect solution we won't do anything and wait for perfect to come.

I have been working at NETSCOUT full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Big Paycheck
Company stock performs well (not sure how)

    Cons

The bottom 6 reviews are by the company employees, if you want real reviews, sign into glassdoor and take a look at the next 100 reviews.

    - Most unprofessional
    - unnecessary gossip
    - management doesn't even have a college degree
-Executive management has no idea what's going on. Also, power revolved around a very few people
    - Product Management doesn't have a roadmap
In short, this company is going to be a stopping point in your career; these guys are going to humiliate you big time. They will try to pose that everything is mission critical but everything is just meaningless. There is no differentiation between services and sales. Plus you will have to deal with a lot of attitude by a huge group of dumb founded, narcissistic and egotistic people.

    Advice to Management

Please resign and go sell girl scout cookies

    Pros

    Competitive Salary.
    Sizeable in its niche industry
Still some very hardworking people in the lower ranks.

    Cons

Terrible management, unfair ,conspiring and all in the inner circle seem to be working for 30+ years old in this company .
Organization structure is built for "Friends" rather than skills.
Definite undertone of racism everywhere, sometimes in your face.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees, not only your buddies , they will ultimately take you down.

I worked at NETSCOUT full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

i have been working for a while in Netscout after merger of Fluke Networks/ Danaher. There is reasonable compensation on a whole.

    Cons

    - Due to merger, some senior technical personnel tends to keep what they know in case they might lose their job. Little sharing of knowledge.
    - Management does not like to hear feedback & though they portray they will readily listen. They will "prata" around what they say as this is an Indian company .
    - Be careful to check your last paycheck as the salary credited may be shortchanged.
    - Few formal proper training.

    Advice to Management

    US company with Indian culture.
