How long should I wait before following up with a firms HR about next steps/CB? After the screener as I left the office the partners said next steps is to wait to hear from HR and then he clarified at the elevator lobby I would hear back either way. At what stage is it "ghosted" in terms of waiting to hear back? When is it appropriate to follow up just to see where things stand. Is it safe to assume after 1 week since your screener without a CB invite you are rejected?

This fall I’ll have 2 years left of school. I’m studying cyber security and hoping to get an internship for next summer (either near DC or Charleston SC). Any tips or recommendations? I’m open to anything cybersec related.

Staff have great rapour and excellent working relationships that mean the poor working environment and terribly selfish management are bareable. Good recent strides in technology used within certain graded branches. Rapour on each individual department from sales assistant to floor manager excellent. Above that, non-existent
Senior management is non-existent and their workload is minimal for maximum rewards. Blame game played against floor managers, as senior management cant take responsiblity or refuse too. Workload balance is unreasonable and also non negiotable. Pay is exceptionally poor compared to market rivals and the way staff are managed as a number rather than a partner is also evident. This is clear in fortnighyly bonus figures which show popr customer service refleced from the hierarchy downwards.Continue reading

25% discount and 75% uniform allowance (have to pay the other 25%) can offer and take shift on the NEP
sale prep and sale hours can be very unsociable and stressful with no extra pay. Expected to work all of Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, NYE & NYD so don't really get to enjoy the festive time of year. Not really praised for the effort all the employees put into making sale run smoothly. Communication skills with managers isn't always good, given too many jobs to concentrate on customers
