Pros
Bonuses 25% Discount First pick of sale
Cons
Sales Assistants are left to run the floor in the absence of a manager; much more responsibility which isn’t reflected by minimum wage

It Could Be Worse
Jan 17, 2016 - Retail Sales Assistant in Bracknell, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Most of the people I worked with were great: friendly, talkative, confident and eager to help you out if you had a problem. Plenty of overtime available. Clean place to work.
Cons
Head office are generally much more concerned with the bottom line than with employees. The pay isn't great (minimum wage for age group) and they frequently promote people well before they're ready - 22/23 year olds with no previous management experience working as store managers etc.

Pros
Great clothes, great discount, next day delivery is good for stock.
Cons
Would rather be a customer. I work way too much and do tasks well above my pay grade. Paying into a pension I know nothing about. Having to pay for uniform even though I'm on minimum wage (which is illegal) and work stupid hours with no routine.

Pros
The team is fun and everyone is nice
Cons
Just above minimum wage and at my store only one Christmas temp was offered a full time position

Sales Associate Review
May 31, 2017 - Sales Consultant in BlanchardstownRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
salary is slightly above minimum wage a mystery shopper comes in twice a month and if the overall store does well you get a very small bonus in your month's wage. 25% discount if you'd actually wear their clothes.
Cons
little or no training. very very low in staff but you're still expected to reach their high customer service standards while also keeping the floor exceptionally tidy, making sure the clothes are in size order and neatly displayed, making sure every customer gets checked in/out of the fitting room, making sure you keep an eye on the tills, acting as security as the full time security guard in this store is pathetically incompetent, making sure low lines are filled and stock is being put back out from the fitting room. management are laughably bad. if you get a job as sales support you're only going to get a day or two's work. trust me, it's not worth it. they'll have you doing all the awful jobs that nobody else wants to do and the sale starts at 5am. not worth your time. very high turnover of staff as the management are so bad, no one wants to stay. everyone is miserable. you are not appreciated at all, i understand it's retail and you're replaceable but this is just horrific. it's very clique-y. they don't care about your life, as far as they're concerned they own you and they'll put you in for any shift they want and will refuse to take you out of it even if it wasn't in your availability. they are laughably tight with holidays. the list goes on.. i wouldn't wish a job in this place on my worst enemy, it's soul destroying. take into consideration that i was one of the valued staff members, well liked by management and this is still my review. if you're thinking about applying, don't.

Pros
Good training and working team. The pay was also above minimum wage which was a pro as a teenager working part time.
Cons
There were limited contacted hours. However, it was expected you would work additional hours above your contact when it suited them.

Only apply if experience in retail is needed!
Jun 15, 2017 - Sales Consultant in Limerick, LimerickRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Most employees are friendly and easy-going. Management varies per person. - Staff discount at 25% which applies to extended family (or friends if you're careful) and includes 75% off uniform. - Flexible hours, which are useful if you're working a second job or have college/university requirements. - Easy pay for mundane work. - Good work for peak times during the year. Suggest you come and go as quick as you can and move on to a better work environment!
Cons
- Negative attitude in workplace. Most employees including floor managers have disdain for the place - Low pay. Paid minimum wage for 2 years and then bumped up if you've managed to stay for that long. - Management tends to treat staff very poorly. Punished for minor mistakes or 'offences' i.e: 2 minutes late back from break, not constantly smiling and approaching customers etc.. - High expectations and standards considering what the work entails. - Sanctions for minor offences. Brought down to the office and given a 'courtroom' style talking down for trivial matters.

Pros
Discount of 25% good holiday allowance
Cons
Minimum wage paid and never increases regardless of how many years you have worked for the company.small contracts but always expected to work over your contract,no bonuses at Xmas , most stores are understaffed so you could be running a whole floor alone working on tills , tasking while also being security guard! Next overwork and underpay their staff!
