    Pros

    good coworkers
    nice place to work in

    Cons

If the building is 24 hours, and the person that works after you does not come on time you will have to wait until they arrive before you leave.

I have been working at NFC Amenity Management part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They offer mandatory training which is good because you get to meet important faces of the company during the trainings. The trainings reflect how important it is to the company that you perform your job properly.

    Cons

They hire you as full time but as soon as you pass the 3 month mark, your hours are cut in half and placed as a part time employee so they don’t have to give you any benefits. The paystubs do not reflect any overtime or anything else other than the taxes taken out and hourly wage. You won’t know if you where payed for overtime or not. They encourage you to not take a 30 minute lunch, just a quick bite.. only directors/managers receive benefits.

    Advice to Management

There’s plenty of jobs that do not offer benefits but still keep their employees on full time. Benefits aren’t always a requirement. If you cut someone’s hours because you can’t afford benefits after having them start in the company thinking they’re always going to have a full time position make sure you explain this upon hire. People have expenses such as bills and families to take care of. It’s not right.

I have been working at NFC Amenity Management full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Residents are the ONLY perk of the job, IF you're at one of the better buildings

    Cons

Pays less than a competitive salary, 3rd party company with very little control of what happens during your shift, work on holidays (no time and half, but you get a paid comp day), sometimes when you're direct manager doesn't figure out your comp day questions in a timely manner so you get screwed multiple comped hours. And don't even think about calling in sick since NFC will NEVER employ enough people for that to happen.

    Advice to Management

Actually care for your employees, since you clearly do NOT

I worked at NFC Amenity Management full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent pay for an entry position; relatively autonomous work, with a bit of collaboration with lifestyle director; always a new event or something to keep you busy (if you like that). Opportunities to network with your developer.

    Cons

There's never a sense of completion. Once one event is over, you're still continuing to plan the next and the next. The schedule is really inconsistent but found it best to plan a month in advance your days off, based on the events happening that month. I don't want to speak for other lifestyle directors, but from what I observed and experienced, I feel this company dumps a lot of responsibility on their directors that should be managed by another position. I ultimately left because of this.

I have been working at NFC Amenity Management full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great job to network

    Cons

Directors do all the work covering the shifts without overtime paid or working to get shifts covered and stay within budget but the area leader gets the bonus at the end of the year for it (makes no sense to me)

    Advice to Management

Offer the Directors a bonus at the end of the year for staying in budget with labor hours, make them feel appreciated for getting out of there bed in the middle of the night or on their day off to cover shifts that they aren't getting overtime for.

I worked at NFC Amenity Management full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I made awesome connections While working for the company. although management seemed a bit spiteful and childish. I still flourished. Use them for what u can then keep it moving.

    Cons

Long hours. Insufficient benefits. Childish managers . very very Long hours. Bad management. I was actually training myself. lack of communication. no breaks. and don't let you have to go to the bathroom

    Advice to Management

Try to actually train your employees. You are missing out on an opportunity to have awesome loyal employees. Residents don't appreciate having different people over their personal info everyday.

I have been working at NFC Amenity Management full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Flexible work hours, several locations

    Cons

Lack of Training, no way of knowing how to be promoted into other roles, pay is not the best for management , no overtime pay

    Advice to Management

Create mentoring programs to develop your staff into higher roles instead of bringing people from outside the company to fill roles. They will save money in the long run and ensure that they have a dedicated well trained staff. There are many roles within the company in which training or mentoring programs should be made to allow staff to be promoted into.
