    Pros

Some of the Co-workers, ability to sort of make your own schedule

    Cons

No benefits, no non-bill pay, front office doesn't care about its staff, the company doesn't care about staff either, never any support or cohesion between front office staff and TSS/BSCs

    Advice to Management

A lot of companies offer benefits to its hardworking employees now. With better pay rates. OFFER NON BILLABLE RATES!!

I worked at NHS Human Services as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Enjoyable working with the students and staff.

    Cons

Very poor communication leading many times to management placing blame for things on staff when it was lack of communication from management. Untruth between management and staff. Social groups and hanging out of management when they are to be working.

    Advice to Management

Remember why you are at NHS. For the students and not to hang out with your friends. Also to not do personal business when you are to be working. In addition, when a staff member has personal time-pay them for it.

    Pros

Team environment you're not in the field working cases alone.. coworkers at the school to support you

    Cons

School doesn't respect BHWs. Nhs will.not. pay their BHW more money. Nhs makes BHW feel less than, no support, only care about $$ not children/clients.

    Advice to Management

Care about the clients/children's outcome. Report these school staff members who are violating the children. Pay your staff! Support your staff!

I have been working at NHS Human Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The pros of the job is the overtime, my coworkers, and our clients are pretty cool. That's about all the good things I can say. I had to meet a 20 word minimum in this column which is the only reason I wasted my time writing an extra sentence.

    Cons

The management team can be very unorganized and unprofessional. There seem to almost always be errors made. My supervisor is not the worst but it would be appreciated if when I call or text her with a concern that I actually get a response. Management team is not very personable and if there is an issue it seems like they really don't care to much. If there is an issue that you are trying to get resolved they seem almost irritated that you come to them and expect them to do their job. I definitely will not be making a career with this company.

    Advice to Management

Please be a little professional, caring, and organized when it comes to your employees.

I have been working at NHS Human Services (More than 5 years)

    Pros

There are always new jobs opening up since employee turnover is high.

    Cons

Low pay, even for corporate employees, Executive Level Management does not care about the health and well-being of the individuals that NHS serves. Bad and/or incompetent employees are just moved to different departments instead of being let go.

    Advice to Management

Remember why you entered the field, it was certainly not to make money.

    Pros

The clients and coworkers are great.

    Cons

Management is awful. Totally unsupportive of employees family obligations. Disengenuous about net salary and management attitude toward staff. If I could give zero or negative stars, I would.

    Advice to Management

Take a good look at how employees are actually treated, not how you "think" you treat them.
