    Pros

Great people who are highly motivated and want to do the best for the general public. Huge sense of achievement and reward helping those in need

    Cons

Under resourced and too many layers of management mean that it can be difficult to implement new ideas especially if they involve investment.

    Advice to Management

Talk to people who actually do the job and listen to them. They have most of the answers and often have practical low cost solutions.

The belief that we are all working to improve the NHS experience for everyone. We are all focused on the best outcomes.
People are supportive, and training is available to help one develop skills.
If staff have problems (eg family) then there is the flexibility to take time off to deal with this.

    Cons

Too many meetings without real actions following out of them.
Too much writing of papers rather than trying to really think about issues, problems and solutions.
    Too much process.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work with staff, but consider trying to cut process and reduce the number of papers that get circulated for everyone's views.
