    I worked at NHS full-time

    Pros

The people were nice to work with

Head office facilities were good for Yorkshire Ambulance Service

    Cons

Can be bureaucratic, a lot of things have red tape around them.

The senior leadership team move onto another NHS role within 2 years a lot of the time, resulting in a constant state of flux

Unions can make it difficult to make positive change happen, for the benefit of the whole organisation.

    Advice to Management

Look at succession planning the right people into management roles, not people because they tick certain boxes

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at NHS full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good staff, friendly people, helping other people

    Cons

Management don't really care, understaffed a lot, you get moved to other wards that are short.

    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

A good employer that offers good holiday entitlements and sick pay, something that not everyone has the benefit of.

    Cons

They make cuts in the wrong places and rely very heavily on the goodwill of dedicated staff to keep thing afloat.

    Advice to Management

Seek feedback from those on the 'shop floor' and have more clinical staff in positions that influence decision making regarding budgets and cutbacks.
