I have been working at NICE full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Many positives, but the clearest example of how NICE invests in their employees is their training program. Hands down, best training program around.

    Cons

Enterprise Software is an innovative, aggressive, and high pressure industry. With that comes constant change.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the exceptional training, continue to focus on the product and employees and the future will continue to be bright/

I have been working at NICE full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great Atmosphere. Great Pay. Great Benefits. Friendly and helpful co-workers and very little drama to deal with.

    Cons

Not really a con- but you should not apply here if you are not self-motivated and a self-starter. There is a lot to learn and you need to be accountable for your own success.

    Pros

The pay and benefits are good. They offer an annual bonus.

    Cons

This is an Israeli company that has no idea how to manage Americans. The Israeli management is out of touch with American culture.

    Advice to Management

Trust your highly skilled workers and let them do their job. Keep your micromanagement style at home.

I have been working at NICE full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good work life balance (as long as it isn't end of quarter), and constant learning opportunities. Company does fairly regular awards and recognition activities for the employees, so they are at least paying lip service to employee morale which is more than most companies. Benefits package it about average for the industry.

    Cons

If you are on the sales and install side, everything is dictated by end of quarter and the constant drive to close one more sale. Processes are poorly documented (if at all) and get thrown out the window at the first sign of an escalation to upper management (which the large customers know and take advantage of). The company is still engaged with the delusion that offshoring and outsourcing complex work will make all the difference in the world. There has been no lessons learned by the constant high turnover in the Pune office over the last year.

    Advice to Management

Stop expecting that the solution to every problem is to just hire a bunch of low cost employees and send them through a couple weeks of training and then act shocked a month later when half of them quit and nothing has changed. Either the products need to be greatly improved and simplified for that to work, or you will have to accept the fact that your customers will never be happy.

When you have multiple systems that have nothing with separate support teams, cross training with the expectation that everyone becomes an expert in every product is NEVER going to happen, especially when those teams already feel overworked and underappreciated to begin with.

    I worked at NICE full-time

    Pros

    Work life balance is OK.
Your direct manager is probably the best resource for any company information.
Your coworkers, whats left of them are great.

    Cons

    Just acquires companies.
No innovation other then bundling all products into one.
Company focus is all about minimizing costs ,and transferring roles to cheaper offices in Pune and Bogota.

    Advice to Management

Customers do not like dealing with Pune.
    You're blinded by customer surveys.
Focus on what US resources you have left.
Your throwing talent away that your customers depend on.
