I have been working at NICE full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Many positives, but the clearest example of how NICE invests in their employees is their training program. Hands down, best training program around.

    Cons

Enterprise Software is an innovative, aggressive, and high pressure industry. With that comes constant change.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the exceptional training, continue to focus on the product and employees and the future will continue to be bright/

I have been working at NICE full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

After 25 years in the public sector, it was a culture shock to be warmly welcomed into a professional, creative, innovative, and supportive work environment. I read a lot of reviews here before deciding to make the leap into this new world of corporate life, and I've never regretted it for an instant. I think what helps make this a positive environment is that we all have the same goals, so we support each other to achieve success. NICE values its employees and invests a lot of time in training and sharing information.

    Cons

I work from home and travel. The only cons are my dog mopes around the house when I'm gone and sits right under my feet when I'm home!

    Pros

Mature product with established customer base. The company is well run, has a good product line and well established customer base.

    Cons

I really have not had any negative experiences. You do have to jump in and learn, but there are plenty of resources for that.

    Advice to Management

Keep focus on quality and customer needs - this is making the daily work rewarding and enjoyable.

I worked at NICE full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Competitive pay and benefits. Local managers are supportive even though they have no real control

    Cons

Every management decision is a slow, painful, arduous, process. Lots of waste trying to save money. No grasp of IT and inability to make quick changes. Very reactive management and you have to wait for the disaster to get anything done. Very stressful. Owned out of Israel and they are very disconnected from the US.

    Advice to Management

Streamline your processes and get rid of you purchasing process completely. It is way too slow and wastes more money than it could ever save. Stop micromanaging things you don't understand in the first place.
