    The people at Nice are great.

    Cons

    The software is extremely complex and interfaces with both telephony and other 3rd Party Applications. You will have to work very hard, lots of hours, and sacrifice personal life to be successful here.

    Advice to Management

    Take a good look at the work/life balance of most of the employees and do something to truly embrace a culture that promotes it.

    NICE is a great company to work. Collaboration these days is fundamental to achieve results and with the new structure, as well as with the shifting factors that are playing in our favor such as market, products and competition, we have everything to solidify our position as clear leaders.

    NICE is rapidly becoming Enterprise Software Company with clear strategy and execution. Under the leadership of Barak Eilam, the company's business is growing by focusing and extending it core offerings.

    NICE is developing cutting edge analytics technologies and Cloud offerings, reinventing the Call Center market and the Financial Fraud Prevention market.

    Cons

    NICE is in transition from its root as a "hardware" base company (call recording) to enterprise software company offering sophisticated solutions. The transition come with growing pains.

    - Market leader in the call center space and customer experience
    - Really Nice people that tell it like it is and are always fair and stand by their words
    - Customer truly respect NICE and it they treat NICE like a large player (e.g. IBM, Oracle, etc.)

    Cons

    - Cloud strategy is not mature yet but inContact acquisition is a major step forward.
    - Investment in products follow sales success vs. upfront product investment

    Advice to Management

    - Focus on a true cloud with upfront investment
    - Develop a more defined career path for individual contributors like key players in the tech industry (e.g. Distinguished Engineer). This increases retention of key talent.
