    Approves of CEO

I have been working at NICE full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

No good reasons to work for this company

    Cons

This company is made up of unprofessional managers. The HR department is only there to assist the managers with enforcing the cruelty done to employees who are targets. The HR department is made up of unskilled personnel, incapable of getting anything done. The company has a good CEO, but he needs to reselect the people who reports to him. Beware.

    Advice to Management

Please go back to school and complete a few managerial or management courses.

I worked at NICE full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Couldn't have made it without my former co-workers to get through the day.

    Cons

Expected to work til midnight at qrtly close then arrive bright eyed the next day, business as usual; Management never available to hear your concerns (Be happy you have a job attitude); Never enough money in budget to receive bonus that you actually deserve.

    Advice to Management

Visit your employees at their work stations, talk to them, listen to their concerns. Maybe put a face to the names.

I have been working at NICE full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Most NICE products are unique and cutting edge. They sell to many Fortune 500 companies.

    Cons

For a tech company they are not cutting edge when it comes to culture and work environment. They operate as a call center with theme parties to get people excited about the office, which is immature. NICE has zero flexibility with working times and working from home. They just don't care! For a tech company the internal systems are dated, especially the HR systems. If you want to a place you have to clock in and out, this is your place folks!

    Advice to Management

The CEO walks around and takes attendance. Most managers are just not progressive leaders.

I worked at NICE (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Swanky conferences and kick offs. They have great training and decent product. I really appreciated many of the people I worked with. Most are not there anymore.

    Cons

Promises promises. Unfortunately, belief in the customer and their success isn't real. It was a real joke behind closed doors. When I found out my salary was significantly lower than many peers AND my commissions were so low through the year and into November. I felts very used for my talents.

    Advice to Management

This company is shallow and they don't mind stepping over the bodies to get the deal. Joke was don't confuse implementation with selling.

I worked at NICE full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good products, name recognition, market leader

    Cons

CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP! they pay well under the industry average, across the board. They're moving a lot of jobs off shore in order to not have to pay US based salaries. EVERY quarter they indicate that results are poor in order to justify poor raises/no raises, little to no bonus. After they've screwed their people the results come back as spectacular - record growth.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to your people. Doesn't it make you wonder why there is little to no loyalty amongst your employees?

    Pros

Used to be a good company to work for. Priorities have fell off a cliff. Company no longer cares about employees/customers. Current pros, none.

    Cons

Awful lower and middle management. Top managmemt is only focused on thier bonuses and stock price. Customers and employees are last priority. Buggy software and poor quality.

    Advice to Management

Focus on the long term viability of the company. Stop being selfish. Concentrate a little more on software quality and employees.

    Pros

Job security - you can work easy and sometimes not even perform your job and you won't get fired

    Cons

The company claims to be working in agile methodology, but in reality, are not.
Heavy politics all over the company. Tons of bureaucracies for anything.
Management are saying what employees wants to hear, but acting to their own benefits - as long as the stock is going up and the company making money, it goes into senior managements pockets. Employees gets nothing.

    Pros

They pay you well but you are selling your soul. Probably really nice if you enjoy being in the Israeli military.

    Cons

Abusive senior management with limited leadership skills and vision.

The argumentative culture kills innovation and new ideas and leads to a mass of people just trying to survive.

Worse is that the culture is not limited to employees, but bleeds over to customers.

     Processes are antiquated and cumbersome.

Those who pass off accountability are the ones who succeed

If you are a woman or female leader-- multiply the abuse times 10.

    Advice to Management

Treat people with respect. Listen to different opinions beyond the Israeli point of view. Communicate with regions outside of Israel.

I worked at NICE full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Cafeteria in the building has good food. The building is very secured for the protection of current employees from any upset laid of workers. HR department is a joke.

    Cons

Poor management, company restructuring causes constant instability, constant lay offs to ship jobs overseas. Terrible company to work for!

    Advice to Management

Managers create a tense uncomfortable environment that is akin to working for large corporate company. Management has no backbone and doesn't stand up for employees but instead bows to the corporate overlords. This company has let go great talented workers in exchange for low wages and poor customer service overseas. Soon the customer base will realize what NICE truly represents and offers to their not so valued customer base.
