Great team of people to work with in Engineering.

    Cons

We were acquired by NICE. Management didn't quite know what to do with the Silicon Valley office and eventually shut it down.

    Pros

Company is on the leading edge of technology

    Company continues to profit

    Cons

I worked there for 5 years and in those five years I had 8 managers. The VP of support is useless and Managers see it right away and leave the position.

Support department is moving to India and all employees are treated as a number rather than a person

    Pros

Remote employee, decent salary, advancement opportunities, they do smart hiring in order to avoid having layoffs

    Cons

Israeli owned and the mentality shows, managed by overseas personnel who have no idea of what is norm in the US., It is a chop shop company- buy technology companies, get the technology, let the people go. when attrition occurs, they do not open billets to get new talent. You have to wear 20 different hats and the quality of life they preach is non existent

    Advice to Management

Take better care of your assets, encourage career growth, better communication to the employees as far as career opportunities, enable employees to find internal opportunities if available.

Not too much workload. People there are nice. They offered free fruit and all kinds of snack. You can work remote.

    I worked at NICE full-time

    Pros

Leader within their vertical. Great product to sell.

    Cons

Ironically for a company that supplies software to manage and improve customer experience, NICE has some of the worst customer support to their own customers. This Makes it a huge burden on the sales rep

I worked at NICE full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    - Excellent benefits that gets better over time (vacation days increase as tenure increases).
    - Long-time employees are very sharp
    - They manage their money well (but also leads to some dissatisfaction)

    Cons

    - Too much bureaucracy and the approval process to get anything done is ridiculous
    - The company takes little to no action on improving working conditions after collecting employee feedback
    - Recent hires are not very good and the company is not willing to pay for talent
    - The company is very disjointed and even with their effort to try and create a unified base, there are still tons of silos by department, role, etc.

    Advice to Management

    - Use real software and don't worry about license costs. Stop paying for on-prem solutions that are crappy.
    - Take employee feedback more seriously
    - Hire better talent
