I have been working at NICE full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

NICE prides itself on being a market leader and an extremely innovative company. The individual or team is a vital and respected. Real sense that each person makes a difference and is appreciated for doing so. Hard work and collaboration rewarded. I've been at NICE 8 years and every year I have been given new challenges/opportunities and increased responsibility.

    Cons

NICE has a long term plan for continued success that relies on dedication and sacrifice by employees. Success oriented culture requires people who understand work/life balance and value open communication across the organization.

    Advice to Management

Hire, maintain and motivate the best people to ensure continued success.

I have been working at NICE full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

NICE is the leader in each market they are in. NICE's fosters a customer first approach with everything they do. With the three principle areas of activity there are lines of business and customer segments to allow current and future employees to grow and be challenged professionally.

    Cons

NICE is fairly conservative financially, they don't spend without a clear path to success. This can feel as if they are not willing to invest. This is also one of the reasons NICE has been able to be extremely healthy financially. As an employee it can be challenging sometimes with the spending lag but also comforting to know NICE is financial in a great position to succeed in the long and short term.

    Pros

Very rewarding place to work. Great vision with solid strategic plan in place to grow revenues and profitability, which is rewarding for an employee and makes for a great environment to work. New management in place for two years now and they are executing very well. There is a lot of freedom to innovate and to generate new ideas. The overall atmosphere and the mood of the employees is very good. Moral is high.

    Cons

Work is demanding, and management expects results. Not a place to sit back and rest on your heels. However, good performers are well rewarded.

I worked at NICE full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

NICE is a growing organization (currently) and there is plenty to do. This makes for a very energetic workplace that can be exciting and fulfilling at times.

    Cons

NICE consistently makes what look like strategic decisions, but executes on them in a amateurish way. If customer facing, prepare to be bombarded with customers that are not happy and a obvious lack of resources that will make any material change to their fundamental problem -- poor product and design.

    Advice to Management

Employees, both current and long-gone, have spoken to management about the true issues with product reliability, budgetary irresponsibility and cultural insensitivity. Now is the time for management to find the inconspicuous truths, not to receive more advice.

I worked at NICE full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The time I spent here was fun but stressful. The compensation is very fair. One could do much worse.

    Cons

Training is by and large internal. Few certifications are required for entry level and second tier support. Training is difficult to obtain, and schedule and

    Pros

    Very Talented people
I was lucky to have a Manager, Mentor who encouraged me to complete the work the way I want without forcing any company policies

    Cons

Being an Intern, I feel work environment is quite boring. No fun activities at all. People just come, work and go home. They are not much interested in talking with each other. So if you love to work in Energized atmosphere, definitely not a place for you

I worked at NICE full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Cafeteria in the building has good food. The building is very secured for the protection of current employees from any upset laid of workers. HR department is a joke.

    Cons

Poor management, company restructuring causes constant instability, constant lay offs to ship jobs overseas. Terrible company to work for!

    Advice to Management

Managers create a tense uncomfortable environment that is akin to working for large corporate company. Management has no backbone and doesn't stand up for employees but instead bows to the corporate overlords. This company has let go great talented workers in exchange for low wages and poor customer service overseas. Soon the customer base will realize what NICE truly represents and offers to their not so valued customer base.
