I have been working at NIFCO America Corp full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great young talent. Straight shooters in management. You can learn a lot from these guys. People are willing to teach you things if you want to learn. They just want performance.

    Cons

I can’t really name any. Just that they should punish people who knowingly screw things up because of laziness. More communication between units would be a definite plus.

    Advice to Management

Keep your go-getters, they want you to succeed.

    Pros

The benefits are great and always plenty of hours to work.

    Cons

No recognition for hard work and you only move up in the company by who you know.

    Advice to Management

Start recognizing the dedication and quality of your good workers.

I have been working at NIFCO America Corp full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good People, Fast Pace, Challenging Work that always has you moving

    Cons

Lack of Motivation, and Lack of Real Leadership for areas of real concern

    Advice to Management

Sometimes there is too much, just trying to make people including customers happy, when you have the ability to change and help but nothing happens.

I have been working at NIFCO America Corp full-time

    Pros

Some good people, especially in the manufacturing and engineering groups. Many work very hard to ensure the company's success. Health insurance is very good. Other benefits are generally around industry average.

    Cons

Management seems unclear on the overall company direction. Top-down communication is nearly non-existent. High turnover in many groups, with no apparent effort to stop the outflow of talent.

    Advice to Management

Decide on a strategy and stick to it, communicating it clearly to the entire company. Make an effort to keep top talent before they decide to leave.

I worked at NIFCO America Corp (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay, Benefits, air-controlled, servo-driven presses, clean, continuously growing (job security)

    Cons

Collective communication, standardization of work performance, training, teamwork (or lack there-of)

    Advice to Management

Enforce some type of standard, work on training (the one-point-lesson is just a sign-off.. and done), emphasize teamwork to get things done, and if you hire someone for a specific shift, either put them on that shift... or tell them prior to start day, that the situation has changed. (Honor your word) :D

    Pros

I was inside out of the weather.

    Cons

This company lies to you during the interview. They tell you that you will work a 90 day probationary period and that you will go full time, permanent, with insurance benefits when they have no intention of hiring you whatsoever. I saw them do this to myself and at least 15 other employees, all of whom (including myself) left to find a real job elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

    Stop deceiving your potential talent.

    Cons

Training for the job is sometimes non-existent. People are left to figure out by themselves and often create more work for themselves. Lacks departmental communications.
