I worked at NIIT full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Less prone to constant monitoring/supervision by superiors so liberty to hone skills and learn much more

    Cons

Pay is fair, but you would wish it were more.

    Advice to Management

Good working equipments and attentive/caring management in my experience, but since it is mostly a training institute, you are held to a higher standard for equipment functionality. Increasing downtime could drive customers away. Ensure all equipment work at all times. Other than that it is a good place to work overall.

    Cons

You should have some God Mother or God Father.
HR's are there because companies have HR.
Work for 12 hours but don't expect any appreciation.
Hike will be 2 to 5 % no matter how much you work.
    very unprofessional.
Managers are not worried about our problems they just want their work to be completed even some one is dying at home.
lot of boot licking and favouritism .
Worst place to work for even though HR will send a mail every year to nominate it as the Best place to work for.(HR will do this much only)
    No Work/Life balance.

I worked at NIIT full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

It's a brand in Training Industry, that's the only advantage.

    Cons

Lots of them...it's not the company but the leaders who have been in the organization for years and years, that is issue, in fact biggest of concerns...they are calling the shots without knowing how corporates outside operate

    Advice to Management

Be people friendly...employees are the biggest asset, have HR not ruled by Business Operations, follow HR policies...change leaders, it will serve good for the organization

I worked at NIIT full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Salary on time
If you are good in bootlicking you can get away with anything, even haressment.
HR is a laughable powerless department, they are paid for wearing makeup.
If you spend 10+ years here then you dont need to work then after.
Spend 10+ years and say any kind of gaalii to subordinate, any kind of gesture or language tone, HR is here to do nothing.

    Cons

If you are in start or middle of your career and you can't make a godfather/godmother then bhai nukri.com pe profile update kar lo.
Salary is comparatively very less, technology is very old here.
Job security is very less as old leaders are making stupid decisions and and company is loosing customers.
two events of sexual harassment happened in my two year of job here and nothing happened.
If you are a woment who like to live with full dignity then NIIT is not a place to work.
Constant abuse, shouting, humiliation and gaali are normal in some department here.

    Advice to Management

Start terminating bad managers or NIIT will loose its edge over competitors.
