I have been working at NORMA Group full-time

    Pros

NORMA Group offers reasonable pay and benefits. They offer a 401k match. A significant number of team members have laptop computers.

    Cons

There is not such thing as accountability in the organization. Personality is the Golden Rule not performance. Consistent corporate culture is does not exist.

    Advice to Management

If you are going to buy a company, engulf it complete and not just the profits. There is so much low hanging fruit that rots on the vine.

    Pros

    Pros

Easy to find ways to grow and gain meaningful experience. Decent compensation package. Travel is available and encouraged. Training and education opportunities as well.

    Cons

Weak HR team in the Americas. Problems are not dealt with proactively. Hiring practices in manufacturing does not bring in the right talent.

Spend more resources to find the right talent. Insure you are working on creating the culture you want all the way down to the lowest levels in the organization.

    Pros

Great coworkers, relaxed environment. There are good options for people that want to avoid working a ton of overtime. Provides beverages in certain heat conditions.

    Cons

No advancement. Takes 8+ months to transition from temporary to full-time employee. Men and women are treated differently - women get cycled in and out of molding / assembly while men are permanently assigned to the molding presses. Assembly being a much more comfortable area to work in - as it's air conditioned.

    Advice to Management

Stop treating the temporary people like second class employees. There's no reason it should take you 8 months to decide if someone is worth hiring.
