    Doesn't Recommend

I worked at NORTH SPRING BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are a lot of opportunities for advancement. The staff is very family. You feel good in what you are doing.

    Cons

Micromanagement. Everything, literally everything, is documented. There is so much paperwork to be done. The company is very concerned with covering their butts if anything happens. You are always monitored, its pretty much Big Brother status. Also, you get few breaks, if any at all.

    Advice to Management

Really none. I think the administration/HR should be more available.

  2. "Horrible schedule and too much emphasis on paperwork instead of well being of patients and staff"

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at NORTH SPRING BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE full-time

    Pros

    They offer great benefits
    My coworkers are great support
The kids are fun to work with

    Cons

"back end" schedule sort of sucks due to you have to work every weekend because the schedule for it is Wednesday to Saturday and Saturdays you work 7am-11pm. This sucks if you are the type who has a social life on the weekends

    Advice to Management

I would recommend working here especially if you are just getting out of school with a degree in mental health. It's a great way to get your feet wet in the type of population you will be working with.

    Pros

Management and the staff are great to work with and I really enjoy working with the kids and watching them change. There are a lot of opportunities to move up at this facility.

    Cons

You never get off on time and the pay is low for the amount of work you are expected to do.
