    Pros

The academic training, urban environment, quality of care, and availability of resources for resident support are phenomenal! I highly recommend this institution.

    Cons

I don't have any negatives to say about my residency experience. I recommend training at Northwestern to anyone interested in a world class education.

I have been working at NORTHWESTERN MCGAW CENTER FOR GME full-time

    Pros

This was/is an excellent residency. Learning opportunities and flexibility were top notch and senior leadership is always willing to entertain ideas from residents about how to make the group or their own experiences better.

    Cons

Like any medical residency this is a medical residency. Hours are long, pay is not commensurate with the hours. No real surprise here.

    Advice to Management

HR and faculty were excellent in my program. I hope they are able to continue my program. No real suggestion about how to improve.

I have been working at NORTHWESTERN MCGAW CENTER FOR GME full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

great job opportunities after graduating, very respected training program, chicago is a great place to live. Research opportunities are second to none. breadth of experience is fantastic. Most faculty are interested in teaching.

    Cons

Like any program the hours may be long, the admin is not very supportive financially. There is sometimes a lack of communication between programs that is hard to overcome
