    Pros

    I worked the help desk for a little while and while it is frustrating having to deal with computer illiterate people the overall atmosphere of the place was nice.

    Cons

    Office politics are real, I remember getting chewed out by one of the heads of a department for calling the wrong person once.

    Advice to Management

    Chill.

    They deal with interesting clients, and you get to do some cool work - in terms of predicting business for them and showing them where their opportunities lie for the future.

    Cons

    Office culture was a tad bit boring, but no terrible - there was free coffee so that's always good.

    Keep up the great work of pushing for growth and allowing people to thrive.

    Felt like family. Made great friendships. Boss was awesome. Some nice perks.

    Nonstop work. Too many hours, not enough pay.

    Pros

    I worked at NPD Group for 2 years. The company has very good work/life balance. Flexible schedule is allowed as well as working from home on occasion. Very good environment.

    Cons

    Remote location, very far away from everything ( food etc). No public transportation.

    Flexibility and work life balance with the ability to work from home when needed. Great team and co-workers. Collaborative environment.

    Cons

    Political. Favoritism. Extremely top heavy. General lack of ownership. Low compensation; profit sharing that is passed off as bonuses, which are nominal unless you are an officer.
