I worked at NPORT as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Very professional organization, as with all staffing firms shifts can be difficult to get but the overall process is great. The clinical managers are always available and knowledgeable. If it there were more opportunities for full time i would have continued my journey witj this company.

    Cons

Limited full time shifts on-going opportunities

    Advice to Management

Strong managment team the right group of management, clinical managers and staffers

I have been working at NPORT as a contractor (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I have worked for NPORT on and off as an independent contractor for over 20 years. In my experience they offer the highest rates for DOE work compared to other agencies. They also are very accessible when it comes to issues or questions. They have the OT supervisor contact you if you have any clinical questions. The supervisor visits me at my school every year to see how things are going. They seem to care about their therapists.

    Cons

Sometimes the paperwork can be overwhelming.

    Advice to Management

Improve communication within your office so that I dont get the same request from 3 different people.

I worked at NPORT as a contractor (More than 5 years)

    Pros

A high energy operation, this company has its flaws but I can say that they truest go above an beyond for there clients. I have read bad things about this organization and worked with caution however; my experience was nothing what has been rumored. Don't always decide by others experience it for yourself be the true critic this is your career!

    Cons

    More fulltime opportunities to offer.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work the leadership has really come a long way.

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at NPORT full-time

    Pros

The salary is decent.. not great decent..

    Cons

The office dynamic is very off balance, people have constant mood swings and sometimes can be uncomfortable. Most of the current employees have been there for over 10+ years and are constantly complaining about salaries. They offer "benefits" but don't contribute to your 401k and you have to pay for your own insurance. So do they really offer benefits? The technology is weak and any process takes forever so achieving task becomes difficult. All current employees are set in their ways and don't want change or growth.

    Advice to Management

Not all change is bad, get better technology update your systems and focus on your team members. GET RID OF THE BAD SEEDS.

    Pros

Some of the empolyees there are great people, who go above to help eacother. Unfortunately management leaves them feeling disenfranchised. Plus- Its across the street from the mall.

    Cons

Lack of team work and support from management. Company claims to have a lot of people to put to work, not true and makes working at the company hard. Lots of internal turmoil makes an uncomfortable work enviornement, why very few stay in the position and has a huge turn over.

    Advice to Management

Stop sweeping issues under the rug thinking they'll go away. You lose good people who love what they do.
