    Negative Outlook

I have been working at NPS full-time

    Pros

The hours of operation are great

    Cons

Oh where to begin. Management is terrible. Nickel and dime employee's on raises. Warehouse manager drives around on his cellphone while operating forklifts. Also hounds people on religious beliefs. Turn over rate is unreal. They pay you very little to do an insane amount of work. Gossip and drama is a huge issue there. No bonus plan, No paid holidays, No overtime. Management typically walks around barking orders... but does nothing to help employee's put. The pay the advertise is incorrect. Health insurance plan is a complete waste of money and time. Countless osha violations throughout warehouse. For your Christmas bonus you get a gift card that you can only use and the nps store (seems fraudulent to me). No chances of advancing within company. $16 per hour is the real top out honestly. They love to hire pedophiles. There's so much more. Would never recommend ever working there.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to treat employee's if you want your business to thrive. If you wanna quit having to hire countless amount of people. Pay people correctly and treat them with respect.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at NPS full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great people, great people, great people, good culture, nimble, flexible, helping people with rare diseases who have very few options and big needs

    Cons

Growing really fast, a little chaotic, but opportunity to shape and create, if you don't mind ambiguity and finding a way to get it done with not too much structure and sometimes little organizational support.

    Advice to Management

Don't grow too fast, hire the right people, maintain the culture, keep everyone focused, don't become too internally focused, don't become big pharma.

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at NPS full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great work environment, you get to meet people from all over the world. Work is often outdoors and doing a variety of different things.

    Cons

NPS-centric people. You have to "belong" to get promoted. Its very difficult to move around unless you have connections.

    Advice to Management

    Stop pre-determining promotions.
