I have been working at NRC Health full-time

    Pros

The future direction of NRC Health is very exciting and the organization is very mission driven. We have a very dynamic workplace and are constantly evolving and changing. Everyone is super friendly and the workplace/culture is fun and with a lot of autonomy. You really can pave your own path at NRC.

    Cons

If you don't like constant change, don't come to NRC! We certainly don't have the "sexiest" benefits or physical work space but NRC has a lot going for it.

I have been working at NRC Health full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I've been with the company for 3 months and have been delighted by how well NRC Health takes care of its employees. From the branded swag to the holiday party, perks here and there leave me feeling delighted, treasured, and invested in. There are a lot of long tenured employees who have deep industry expertise to share. At the same time, the president of the organization leads in a way that rewards innovation and empowers associates to do their best work. Any associate is available to meet if you need to talk through something -- you just need to have the initiative to seek out the learning/knowledge you need.

    Cons

I haven't encountered any serious cons yet. No work place is perfect, after all, people are people - we will always have conflict, disagreement, or disappointment from time to time, but I have yet to spot any serious problems that undermine the ability of the people or the company as a whole to operate at their best.

    Flexibility of scheduling
    Open communication
    Intensive orientation
    Frequent recognition

    Cons

    Lack of efficient training
Some managers difficult to communicate with
    Conflicting information

    Advice to Management

Follow through with certain restrictions put in place and have a more extensive training program to better understand the program and expectations.

I have been working at NRC Health full-time

    Pros

-The culture is very inclusive and fun
-Great management that pushes you to grow your individual skills so that you can further contribute to the company
-The work you do every day is unique and challenging, leaves you feeling accomplished

    Cons

-Not the best benefits (low 401(k) match and plan to help pay tuition for employee's wishing to further their education)

    Advice to Management

My only advice is on the benefit side and that is providing more comprehensive benefits that would entice more people to come or more people to stay. Paying for some amount of tuition would be big.

    Pros

I worked at NRC Health full-time

    Pros

Amazing position in healthcare between the leadership on key concepts and the breadth and depth of the client based. High pay for the Lincoln area.

    Cons

Leadership is short-sighted. There isn't a long-term vision, or where one exists, its crafted entirely from the bubble perspective of the executive, without input from other contributors. Lack of investment in people (mostly hire young or inexperienced "cogs" to run the engine, little in the way of top-tier talent and experience, what exists has been grown within, so limited external perspective).

I worked at NRC Health full-time

    Pros

It's easy to get along with your coworkers

    Cons

You'll only make $30,000 with any decent commission likely at least a year away.

    Advice to Management

Front load the salary of your salespeople to initially compensate for the long sales cycle.
