I worked at NRECA as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

This internship is incredibly hands-on and will have you working together with a great group of other interns from across the country. You will have the opportunity to work on real projects and also get the chance to create a project that is pretty much run by the interns. People are great, pay is great and I definitely recommend working here.

    Cons

I cannot think of any cons that the internship had for me throughout my experience.

    Advice to Management

I do not have any advice for management. Everyone I worked for was incredibly nice and were willing to help with any questions you had.

I worked at NRECA as an intern

    Pros

The organization works hard to provide a worthwhile internship experience. HR provides the intern group with a well-constructed orientation session, lunch and learns, and an overall intern project that allows every intern from different fields to contribute. Each of my managers helped me develop an excellent portfolio of work and enhanced my skills in my field. The atmosphere is welcoming and every employee is always willing to help in any way that they can.

    Cons

The internship program begins early towards the middle of May so students jump right from finals and into their respective internships, leaving no grace period in between.

    Advice to Management

Please keep the overall intern project and create more opportunities for the interns to visit Capitol Hill.
