I have been working at NTN Buzztime full-time

    Pros

Decent work life balance, fun atmosphere, but busy work. Ability to learn new things. Getting better every day. Ability to work on many things. Nice people. Good benefits. Helpful teammates. Good teachers who will make you learn new things. Decent size workspace with all needed amenities. Good culture. Free sodas and stuff or there is a machine for a buck. Supplies are easy to get and helpdesk is really good. Strong Coffee. Foosball and Ping Pong room.

    Cons

Older building amenities need updated. More a fault of building owner not the company, but the company has been on top of upkeep. Good if use to doing time card non exempt, not bad, but can be an adjustment curve if not use to it.

I worked at NTN Buzztime full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They used to have company bbq's, game day on Fridays, and there was a relaxed vibe in the office. Casual attire, veteran employees were very kind.

    Cons

Leadership was a hot mess while I worked there. The C-Suite staff were working to get the company in line, but the COO and the Sales & Marketing upper management were either incompetent or just in over their heads. Almost nobody had received a raise in years even just to keep up with inflation. They hired most upper management from outside the company, passing over those who had worked in the company.

    Advice to Management

Decide whether you're a family-friendly company or a tech company. Trust employees and actually follow through after the employee 360 review process. Follow your own set of corporate values.

I have been working at NTN Buzztime full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Smart people who challenge you constructively, fun products to work on, lots of opportunities to get noticed, great health care plan, lots of focus on core values.

    Cons

There aren't a lot of lunch options within walking distance, and some parking lot trees drip sap on cars along the outer row.

    Advice to Management

Keep hiring great people, stay focused on the big picture and don't get distracted by short term opportunities.

    Pros

    Cons

Managers who throw their team under the bus to save themselves. Promising technology that could not be delivered on. Made me look bad in from of well established clients

    Advice to Management

teach people how to sell the product, not fire them for not having the right skills to get job done

    Pros

Obligatory perks: coffee machines, fooz ball, ping pong table, nice employee lounge. Good facility maintenance, pretty clean restrooms, thorough nighttime custodial crew.

    Cons

Used to have Game Day Fridays with growlers and trivia, card games, music bingo. Was great for employee morale. No more.

    Advice to Management

You're a gaming company. Let your employees game.
