    Pros

    Co-workers are friendly & helpful. Company participates in community fundraising causes. Company offers employees courses for self improvement on various topics.

    Cons

    Usually a large work load per employee. Some departments have a high turn over rate.

    Advice to Management

    Need to hire more employees.

    I worked at NTT DoCoMo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good work hours.7 hours a day / benefits are great especially their Health coverage. Bonus every 6 months. People were very nice.

    Cons

    Can't think of anything. ( I had to work weekend sometimes.) but that's about it. I have nothing to complain about this company.

    Keep your promises. Too much micromanagement-you let managers delgate to subordinates who don't work for them.
    Empower and listen to your people. Make them feel like they matter and give them job security.

    a big company, plenty of cash, and half government owned, job security.

    Cons

    move slow in any ways. bureaucratic, need company politic power for pursuing anything.

    Pros

    With the right background and ability, Network Programming can be fulfilling work. You need be be a self starter, fast learner and have good comprehension of legal contracts and documents. Understanding television and products, marketing and sales is a must.

    DOCOMO PACIFIC is a Japanese owned corporation with Japanese work ethics.

    * Compelling wireless technology
    * Great place to learn and grow
    * Friendly staff and respect from top to bottom
    * Ability to self manage and goal oriented
    * Funding provided by Japan - people tend to worry less about budget
    * Superior health and benefit package

    * Work you hard - most of the workers don't have personal life
    * Unclear management direction and no management sometimes
    * Expats make most of the decisions - local employees are often ignored
    * Limited growth opportunity
    * You MUST know Japanese

    Please pay more attention to local staff. Sometimes what works in Japan may not work in the States.

    It's always trying to generate business using its wireless technology

    Pros

    Benefits of working for a large corporation in a small company setting. Working with some of the brightest people from Japan. Very good benefits.

    Cons

    Full of large company bureaucratic redtapes and politics even though it's a small company. As mentioned by other reviewers, second class citizen treatment of local employees by expats from Japan.

    Advice to Management

    They need to realize that how it's done in Japan isn't always the right way, and need to listen to, and find ways to motivate the local hires.
