    Pros

    Paycheck. Location. Enjoyed my team.

    Cons

HR does not care about you. Employees who are full time have to worry about the project ending and being put on the bench which won't last long until he/she is let go. No flexibility. Little to no opportunity for advancement. Unorganized. Have to answer to more than one manager about the same issues (think Office Space). Your coworkers are looking for a new job as well.

    Advice to Management

    Relax.

I have been working at NTT full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great engineering and some really talented senior executives. Job security in Japan for the Japanese. Trying hard to be a global company.

    Cons

Trying hard to be global but the cultural sensitivity only goes one way .... westerners expected to be sensitive to be sensitive to the Japanese culture but no sign of any reciprocation. Micro-management by Japanese HQ personnel.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to operate in a global environment, delegate to senior execs outside of Japan without micro- managing them and force parts of the company together as one NTT very quickly .
