    Pros

ESPP,luckily nvidia stock went upto 800% in past two years. not much benefit if you are joining now.

    Cons

no good hike as managers hide behind ESPP gain.
Gross salary is too less in comparison of your CTC.
totally discrimination between bits and normal collage.

I worked at NVIDIA as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Got to learn how to follow wikis and fill excel sheets during the 6 months internship. Had never got such an excellent opportunity.

    Cons

One needs to be really interested for working here. Even 14-16 hrs of work a day is far less than minimum required.

    Advice to Management

Support offices running in India are really good.Keep it up.

    Pros

no pros. Some brand value, but not much. there are no pros apart from t h e s e.

    Cons

Managers in Bangalore are pathetic. They are kind of psycho. May be they are frustrated from life. They hold regular meetings with everyone, just to tell some non-sense and illogical stories. They themselves don't do any productive work. Their attitude generally demotivate others also.

    Advice to Management

Open your eyes towards pathetic managers. Do some serious reviews specially for managers. Because a bad employee wastes 1 resource of company. But a bad manager ruins many resources of the company.

I have been working at NVIDIA full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There are not many good reasons to enumerate to work for Nvidia. Look for other options. Managers will make life miserable .

    Cons

Managers are pathetic. They don't do any work apart from setting up regular meetings with their own managers in USA or other places, and fool them.
But those who are good in fooling their managers are doing a good job here. But, sincere people are suffering.
Nvidia is creating a hype in the market about deep learning. But it's gonna bust sometime soon.

    Advice to Management

Don't give too much power to political managers, who want everyone to follow him/her blindly.

I have been working at NVIDIA (More than 3 years)

    Pros

No pros as such. No pros. No pros. No pros. No prosNo pros as such. No pros. No pros. No pros. No pros

    Cons

Not a good place for intelligent people. Most of the good people have started leaving. Only those who are discarded by outside world are staying long here, because they have no choice. Managers are pathetic. HRs are a bunch of fools at Bangalore. Managers have no work, other than some useless talk.
I have seen many people very angry on managers, but they don't show their irritation, as there is no one to hear them.
For most of the managers at Bangalore, senior managers are in HQ. So, they don't have a clue whats going on. They are easily bluffed by indian managers.

    Advice to Management

Bring in some intelligent HRs and managers, who have some skills. Otherwise all the good people will leave soon.

    Pros

Free lunch; You get to work with smart people

    Cons

    Work like a zombie.
Manager is everything. If you fail to satisfy his ego, you are a sitting duck in this company
On the other hand, if you can keep consulting the manager for everything and make it sound like you are respecting him, you can get far
everything is ad-hoc .. Points for finishing , rather than for finishing things in the right way
And if you are verification engineer, forget it.. JUST forget working for this thankless company run by egoistic managers
And if you have joined nvidia from another company, u will never be heard... even if you are proven right a zillion times. Who speaks is more important than what is spoken. Egoistic managers straight out of IITs who have no real world experience are the kings here.
summary : massage the manager. Or just forget it..

    Advice to Management

    Nothing.. irretrievable

    I worked at NVIDIA full-time

    Pros

    - NVIDIA works on cutting edge technologies ranging from graphics to supercomputing.
    - NVIDIA's work is very innovative with great directions from top leaders to seize new opportunities where GPU's can be utilized like computing, AI etc.
    - Overall facilities are good.
    - You get to work with top class engineers in the US.

    Cons

    - Pune management especially QA and automation follow whatever is asked by the US mgmt. They don't have a team vision/strategy of their own. They will let the team suffer instead of questioning anything to the US mgmt.
    - Pune center shows signs of bozo explosion; bozos hiring bozos from other companies and wannabe bozos from colleges.
    - Engineers keen on passing on their action items to others. That defines success. Doing what is good for the business or the organization may not get much value.
