Pros
Working with incredibly smart people, on some of the most cutting edge technologies Great CEO whose vision has allowed the company to prosper while other companies in this space have disappearred
Cons
It can be a challenge to achieve a good work/life balance depending on the role you have. If you have a good manager there is a lot of flexibility though to make things work for you.

Visionary CEO and competent management Talented colleagues Supports career skills development and internal transfers Work life balance Gourmet food in cafeteria 6 months maternity / 4 months paternity leave
Cons
Pay is above average but not enough to comfortably raise a family in Silicon Valley (but the company offers several commuter benefits to make it easier to commute from affordable places) Lot of redundancy in hiring (helps with work life balance but downside is that you become easily replaceable and it's harder to get promoted)

Great Employees! Middling Compensation

NVIDIA had a great bunch of employees. The engineers weren't engaged in turf wars or internal politics. You could always depend on someone helping you out if faced with a new problem. The work was fast paced. Work life balance also improved a lot in the last few years that I was there
Cons
Middling compensation package. No RSU's/stocks/bonuses. Only base salary that is a bit higher than industry normal

Pros
When you are young & strong, NVIDIA gives you the best environment to channelize all your energies; the environment is aggressive, the management is honest and growth opportunities aplenty. Huge responsibilities are just thrown people and those who can swim upstream have everything to gain.
Cons
Work life balance takes a hit; You just cannot balance your life without ruffling a few feathers. If you are one that likes to maintain that rich gamut of hobbies, sorry dude this is not the right place for you.
