    Pros

    I get to make a difference everyday that I go to work. I have great pride in the work that I do. I can grow into leadership if i so wish. The stability is here. I don't have to worry about the corporate game. the income is great!

    Cons

    if you are lazy and can't get out of bed this is not for your. Must believe in the mission. you will have good days and bad!

    Pros

    Excellent company, training and support. Ethical leadership and good cause. Independent position no microman. In business 60 years. If you like legislative issues and meeting with business owners then it's ideal. Generous commissions great income potential. They will not put you in a territory where another Rep works or has worked.

    Cons

    All commission, good days and slow days so that adds a little stress. Need to be motivated and follow the system and you will be successful.

    Advice to Management

    Increase activity and national exposure on social media.

    Pros

    The folks at the National Write Your Congressman make a conscious attempt to incorporate fairness and respect into their relationships.

    Cons

    It's your call. Would you rather have the product of your labor go into the portfolio of the 1%?

    Pros

    Great flexibility, family oriented company with a solid cause. Fair compensation plan. Independent Contractor position to some this is a pro, to others its a con, its just how you look at it.

    Cons

    Hard work B2B cold calling to build your territory. I don't have anything against hard work, just know that it will take real focus, attention, and grit to succeed here.

    Advice to Management

    Keep looking for innovative ways draw members to your important cause.

    The people are great here. Everybody has a caring sprite. This has been what has kept me here as long as I've been here!

    Cons

    Oh god, where do I start? So many and too many to mention! This is a turn and burn! The daily grind will eat you and your car alive!

    Pros

    I love working with a company where I am paid well for my efforts AND I get to make a difference in the type of country I am leaving to my kids and Grandkids.

    Cons

    There are only so many people you can reach. While doing this work you have such a strong desire to let everyone know how they can be more involved and yet there are only so many you can see in a day.

    Pros

    Culture that encourages risk and has tremendous rewards. Owners that care about the people working here. A great training program that shows how much we care.

    Cons

    Making our name better known so we aren't the best kept secret anymore.

    Advice to Management

    Keep listening to the field. Never get too far away from the direct salespeople we have.

    Pros

    Our associates are the best of the best. We operate at a level of integrity and respect far beyond usual corporate expectations. This is the most transparent company you will find. We truly care about the success and growth potential of every candidate. As long as you are willing to invest in your own success, we are more than willing to invest in you! Your work ethic will determine your success and your income. Feel free to give yourself a raise anytime. We will come alongside you and show you how. 150-200 k in a few years is truly accessible.

    Cons

    This is the most worthwhile work you could do and the most difficult simultaneously. Saving a nation is hard work. You must be a hunter who can manage attitude and effort. Fearlessness is necessary when cold calling. 100% commission means there is no guarantee and no cap on earnings.

    Advice to Management

    We are in a tremendous growth cycle which means there is huge potential for management opportunities.

    I have been working at NWYC full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Simply the best training and employer I have ever had in my long career. Not only does a new sales rep get some great in-field training and support the first month and more, the rep then gets to go to an advanced training at headquarters in TX- so useful and well formatted!
    In addition, the job to help small businesses gain an effective voice to Congress and receive actual facts and updates is what our Founding Fathers would be very proud of!
    If outside sales is in your general interest, this is for you.

    Cons

    Independent contractor position, but NWYC helps support the ability to put aside the taxes and insurance money needed.
    Orders still done somewhat manually and on the computer also, could be streamlined.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the impressive training format and support, it really makes a difference!
