    Pros

The pay is definitely good. Opportunity is there to advance and it's encouraged. Overall good working environment. Great people to work with.

    Cons

Overall communications could use some improvement. Sometimes the information you need to perform your job is slow in arriving and so are parts.

    Advice to Management

Ask your employees what they need to accomplish and excel at the jobs and then act on it. Improve up and down communication.

I have been working at NXP Semiconductors full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The Benefits, salary, PTO, flexible, education reimbursement, employee amenities such as onsite gym at most facilities, soccer field, basketball court, sand volleyball, nature trails, and large cafeteria.

    Cons

Cyclical semiconductor industry (I.e., layoffs), internal job opportunities, department recruiters focusing on external candidates, no other cons I can think of,

I have been working at NXP Semiconductors full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good work life balance and flexible work hours. But this can depend greatly on your manager. Exciting technology and challenging work tasks. Excellent benefits and vacation time policies, though possible to lose PTO if you aren't able to take it due to tight schedules. Senior management seems to be steering us in the right directions.

    Cons

Possible to lose PTO time. Upcoming merger raises lots of unknowns for next year.

    Advice to Management

Keep the ship from tipping over.
