I have been working at NYSL Promotions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

One thing that struck me upon first working here is how team oriented the atmosphere is. These guys and gals are always there to support each other. They don't want anyone to fall behind, and they don't leave anyone by the wayside. Managers are willing to give extra help and are very understanding when you approach them for it.

    Cons

Hours can be a bit long, but it's worth it when you're working toward promotion (I've been promoted twice in 8 months).

    Advice to Management

Love how available you are if we need you to be.

I worked at NYSL Promotions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Learn sales skills from people that have been where you are
Learn how to interact with reps from top Fortune 500 companies
    Competitive–but friendly–environment
    Intense, fast-paced management training

    Cons

Last summer the AC was out for a week
Verizon will botch 1 in 100 sales you make (price of doing business, any company that big has cracks that things fall through)
People (like some of the negative ones on this site) will come through the door, stay for a couple of weeks and quit on you, then you deal with other people reading their whiny reviews

    Advice to Management

Demote the mid-level (leaders/account managers) people that don’t hit certain qualifications month after month. Owners get shut down, so should leaders. They should have to earn their way back up to being a trainer. Top producers and team builders should be teaching and running meetings.
