I worked at NYU Langone Health full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great place for students. Very supportive of continuing education and personal development. Love the different weekly lectures/seminars available to all employees. Lots of amazing research going on and the community is friendly and diverse. Great health benefits.

    Cons

Due to the nature of many studies (grant based, time sensitive), the opportunity for raises/bonuses is limited.

    Advice to Management

Be more transparent about compensation/growth opportunities in clinical research settings.

    Pros

Get to network with in the facility which helps with moving up. Good for students. A lot of walking which in turn is good exercise.

    Pros

Amazing benefits, good opportunities for advancement. Very competitive continuing education opportunities.

    Cons

Some policies and requirements for advancement are dated. Priority is given to those participating in research, and there are other important ways that individuals are contributing to the development of the company that are not rewarded appropriately.

    Advice to Management

Please review and revise the requirements for advancement. It is important to keep up with the current state of progress in the Physical Therapy field. It is also important to reward individuals that are doing excellent work in the development of programs that make the institution a better place to work and receive care.
