NYU pays well in comparison to other institutions, however, you definitely work for your salary. Their benefits are also very good, particularly their retirement matching, tuition remission, and maternity leave!
Cons
Many of the offices are stressful to work in and the work is often never ending. Expectations are high and work/life balance can be difficult to manage during certain times of the year.
