Get honest to the employees and clarify your vision in a strictly apparent policy and strategy.
Get the employees their financial deserved intensive each year as long as they work hard for your advantage, regardless of the profitability which is possibility unachievable.

Current Employee - Manager in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia)

    Pros

It is a famous family owning a group of companies in Saudi Arabia, especially Jeddah. It is not yet too big that you lose individuality.

    Cons

not very attractive in terms of fair reward for a good day's work. probably too much of old style management still around. And you work Thursdays.

    Advice to Management

Only small things need to be ironed to make it really good. Abolish Thursdays for non essential work and put in a fairer system for bonuses and promotions and they will be way up with the best.
