I have been working at Nalley Automotive full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people that work for the company are fun, treat each other like family and never have a dull moment. You can ask anyone there for help and most people would give you the shirt off their back.

    Cons

Pay is terrible. You have management making great money while taking pay away from tech's, spiff money from other departments and it's always an excuse.

The turnover with management and employees is high. You get paid based on 40 hours, scheduled 50+. So your offer since you wont get paid overtime, factor in that the base salary is a sugar coated minimal wage.

    Advice to Management

Pay your people. You have some of the nicest facilities in the state but in turn your competitors ALL pay better. You in turn run a minimal crew on minimal pay and find excuses on why there's no money.

Take care of your employees and they will take care of you. Quit using you managers to grow beat your employees.

I worked at Nalley Automotive full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The only pro to working for Nalley are some of the people you meet are great.

    Cons

Terrible management, untruthful about pay plans, untruthful about the work schedule.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees as a team and hold to the promises you make.

    Pros

    Training was excellent, very comprehensive!

    Cons

The particular store that I worked at was very slow with a newer GM. They were in the process of staffing for an up and coming location that was soon to open. However, the opening was months away and there were lots of salespeople with nothing to do, so making only the base salary.

I worked at Nalley Automotive full-time

    Pros

I went through 3 interviews to land this job. I never sold cars before they hired me, only customer service and sales experience.

    Cons

If you work in the Internet department, you get some of the freshest leads available, those people are feed most of the leads.

    Advice to Management

Figure out a method where everyone gets internet leads versus scrambling for leads through service and ups at the door.

    Pros

Nice co-workers. Being able to have your car worked on at work is convenient. It's a job with OK pay and a weekly pay check.

    Cons

No real growth potential for service employees. Health benefits are a joke. No holidays except Christmas and New years. But the worst part is the management or lack there of. Management is clueless, unavailable, and unconcerned about employees.

    Advice to Management

Start over from every aspect of management. The structure, discipline, direction, and knowledge is lacking across the board. Most store managers do not have a clue what there job is. Most congregate to share there fishing and boozing stories leaving the low end employees to run the store.
